Currently there are still openings at Sunrise Drive for Kinder Plus however for Canyon View, Ventana Vista and Manzanita we are taking registrations to be entered on a wait list. Please fill out the registration form and turn in to the District Office, 2101 E. River Rd. Attention Community Schools.

Orange Grove Middle School's 7th grade baseball team took home the championship defeating Marana 8-4.

Ventana Vista's Odyssey of the Mind team won second place in regional competition and went on to win second place in the State competition. They are now off to the World Competition in Iowa! Team members are Ethan Bialis, Arianna DuPont, Audrey Kirk, Natalie Liu, Ezra Mandel, and Tessa Strickland. Their coaches are Dede Alexander, Tiffanie Bialis, and Lisa Meder. Congratulations!!

Orange Grove's "mathletes" team won the Southern Arizona MATHCOUNTS competition. Team members are Natian Kuo, Simon Rubin-Toles, Noah Wellman, and Alexandra Zega. Their coach is Chris Newton, OG math teacher.

Orange Grove SARSEF students were awarded highest honors by the Tucson Cactus and Succulent Society at the 2018 SARSEF Science and Engineering Fair. Mia Hernandez & Auhona Shil took third place overall out of over 1000 entries for their project: “Saguaro Clay-mation” and have been invited to the next Tucson Cactus and Succulent Society meeting on May 3, 2018 to speak to their membership with a brief introduction to their project.

Esperero’s Science Olympiad team won state and will move onto national competition. Team members are Francesca Barela, Jerry Barela, Maria Cazzato, Marina Couto, Zachary Cramton, Krista Dewanta, Aditi Ghosh, Bhargav Ghosh, Rohini Ghosh, Emily Kamp, Alex Piviouk, Luke Usie-Cooper, and Kulindu Vithanachchi. Their coaches are Anne Neuenschwander and EB Kamp.

Sabrina Romero, Sunrise's CARE site manager, was selected as this year's Arizona Community Education Association Program Leader of the Year. She will be honored at the AZCEA awards banquet on April 20 in Chandler.
